Backpacking with kids

Believe it or not, kids as young as 3 or 4 can backpack!

For younger kids, you’ll need to pick a site with a relatively short and flat hike in, and you’ll need to carry most of their stuff.

Come prepared with bribes (preferably chocolate!) to keep them moving along the trail.
