About Stellar Camping

Stellar Camping is written by a family who loves to camp in the American West. We offer tips for tent camping while encouraging respect for nature and understanding of our changing environment.

Our story

Our family is happiest when we’re in nature, enjoying the great outdoors.

We’ve learned the hard way how not to camp. By trial and error, plus plenty of research, we’ve come up with some helpful advice to make the most out of your next trip.

We created Stellar Camping to teach ourselves–and you–how to be happy campers!

This site aims to be a comprehensive resource for tent camping that offers concise, easy-to-understand information about this cherished activity.

We also want to share our love of nature and photography at a time when so many places are at risk.

We hope you enjoy the site and encourage you to contact us with any questions or suggestions.
